Herzog Special Reserve Quartet opens with notes of dark cherries, blueberries, and a mouthful of spice and vanilla, complimented by lengthy, developed tannins, finishing with a hint of dark chocolate.This red wine blend of four varieties – 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Petit Sirah, 21% Zinfandel and 12% Merlot – and was fermented and aged separately, spending nearly 41 months perfecting in both French and American Oak.
